Prof. Howard has served on the steering committee for the society and now co-edits the journal HOPOS: The Journal of the International Society for the History of Philosophy of Science.

HOPOS is devoted to promoting serious, scholarly research on the history of the philosophy of science. This year marks the 9th Biennial meeting of the society, which will be hosted by Dalhousie University, The University of King’s College, Saint Mary's University, Cape Breton University, and The International Society for the History Of Philosophy Of Science from June 21-24, 2012.
