How to unlock Kuttenberg in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

If you’ve played the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you may remember the Kuttenberg region. It was discussed several times during quests, but there was no way to get to it. Fortunately, KCD2 finally allows you to go here, and we’re here to show you how you can unlock Kuttenberg.

How to unlock the second map in KCD2

When you first jump into Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll get the chance to explore the expansive Trosky region, including points of interest like Trosky Castle, Semine, and Zhelejov. You won’t have access to the second map, Kuttenberg, as it is tied to a specific quest. In particular, you must complete the Storms main quest. It’ll take you quite a while to reach this point, requiring a minimum of 11 to 12 hours of gameplay with the main story. 2. Easy Riders
3. Fortuna
4. Laboratores
5. Wedding Crashers
6. For Whom the Bells Tolls
7. Back in the Saddle
8. Necessary Evil
9. For Victory!
10. Divine Messenger
11. The Finger of God

The beginning of KCD2 is a long and difficult journey, especially when you need to find a way to get into the wedding. You’ll just have to put in a lot of time and grind enough to unlock the Storms mission. Once you’ve reached this point, you’ll trigger The Sword and the Quill main quest, taking you to Suchdol village in Kuttenberg. I won’t delve into any spoilers here, but let’s just say Kuttenberg is a pretty big place. That means there will be plenty more quests to unlock, including the Dancing with the Devil storyline.

It will initially seem like you can’t return to Trosky, as you’re only presented with the Kuttenberg map. However, you can travel between the two regions using a caravan. If you’re in Kuttenberg, use the caravan in Suchdol or the one near Nebakov Fortress while in Trosky.
