The University of Notre Dame will host the 2nd Annual Midwest Women in Mathematics Symposium on Saturday, April 5, 2014. The purpose of the symposium is to strengthen the network of female mathematicians and statisticians in the midwest and encourage collaborations and mentoring relationships.
Most of the space is dedicated to short research talks by faculty, a keynote address, and a problem session. Lunch will be provided with time to explore issues surrounding women in mathematics. Participants of all genders are welcome to register, attend talks, and participate in lunchtime discussions.
