Reilly Undergraduate Symposium

-

Location: Jordan Hall of Science (View on map )

The Reilly Symposium is an exciting event that celebrates the exceptional dedication and achievements of students in the Reilly programs.

Our HHS minor students are particularly outstanding, having demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation in healthcare and beyond. This year, they will be presenting posters on their cutting-edge research, offering a glimpse into the future of healthcare innovation.

In addition, we're thrilled to welcome keynote speaker Dr. Nataliya Shok, a Public Policy Fellow at the Wilson Center, Washington, DC focusing on research on health as an integral feature of modern geopolitics. She holds degrees in philosophy (M.A.), political science (Ph.D.) and history of medicine (Dr. Sci.). As an academic professional with 10+ years of experience in education, research, and management in medical schools, Nataliya uses a transdisciplinary approach and systemic vision, combining analytical data from social sciences, policy analysis, history, bioethics, international relations, and strategic studies, to understand and advance health.

Her current research explores national policies on global health and foreign policy for health. Her work pays particular attention to post-COVID-19 models of pandemic response and preparedness for future global health  crises in light global power competition.

The Reilly Symposium is a must-attend event for anyone interested in the future of healthcare innovation.

Join us from 5:00-6:30pm in the Main Hall of Jordan Hall of Science to view the cutting-edge research posters presented by our HHS minor students, while enjoying light appetizers.

At 6:30 pm, head to the Digital Visualization Theatre for the keynote address by Dr. Nataliya Shok, "Pandemic Preparedness in a COVID-19 aftermath: transdisciplinary approaches." Following the keynote address will be an award ceremony to celebrate our students and faculty.
