My experience as an M.D. is divided between wet-lab research in transplant immunology and clinical training in anatomic pathology as well as nephrology. As a philosopher, I am interested in the epistemological aporias of contemporary medical research and how they relate to medical praxis. I also have a related interest in religious epistemology in late antiquity, more specifically Platonic traditions of mimetic thought in the writings of Gregory of Nyssa.
