Recent HPS PhD Xiaoxing Jin has an article appearing in the current issue of Isis, the journal of the History of Science Society: https://www.journals.uchicago.edu/toc/isis/current. Xiaoxing's essay, “The Evolution of Evolutionism in China, 1870–1930,” draws on material from his dissertation to reveal the ambiguous place of Darwin's own work in Chinese discussions of evolution during this period.
