Program: History and Philosophy of Science
Track: Philosophy
Education: B.A. in Liberal Arts at Thomas Aquinas College
Year of Matriculation: 2020
I'm from Southern California, and graduated from Thomas Aquinas College in 2020 with a B.A. in Liberal Arts. I'm interested in how philosophy of science can employ resources from the history of philosophy, particularly with regard to the interplay between science, art, and nature. In my own research I plan to study representation, idealization, and metaphor as they occur both in art and in science, with an eye to better understanding how scientific theories and models are related to our experience of the natural world.
Areas of Interest: Ancient and Medieval Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Physics
